IN OCTOBER 2004, BROADWAY NORTH STAGED
"...But It's A Dry Cold"

As West Side Story was wrapping up in August, the musical director, Phillip Fournier approached me about writing some songs for a musical about our hometown, Prince Albert, to celebrate it's centennial. I jumped at the opportunity to work with someone of his talent and so it began. The show turned out to be a success (if it hadn't been, I think I would have moved away - God was I nervous), and my friend Barry (who I wrote the Diefenbaker part for) said that singing the Prime Minister's song was the highlight of his stage career so far. I am just thankful for the continuing opportunity to work with such great people, and to keep learning.

River And The Rails. The studio version that Brooke and I recorded for the radio station. The coolest thing was playing the train beat on the snare drum. God I love drums.
